Saudi Arabian authorities have detained a female suspect for driving a car in the popular game Need for Speed: Most Wanted. Authorities were able to arrest the female due to her violating the strict law which prohibits people “lacking in intelligence and piety” from driving earthly vehicles of any kind.
The Committee of Prohibition for the Sake of Prohibition immediately issued an official fatwa to forbid driving a hypothetical car using the computer, this in turn would ensure a decrease in the consensual female hobbies which have been reduced to two. In accordance to the law, hobbies are fasting, which is not actually listed as it is more than just a hobby, and cooking. It is worth nothing, that the national widespread hobby of driving on two wheels, blindfolded, using one hand at high speeds and standing on the back of the car, is still considered to be permitted and halal, as long as that person possesses a phallus.
Prohibiting driving a hypothetical car comes in line with local authorities banning Grand Theft Auto, as a male was caught stealing a car while playing. Banned games also include Pokemon, Candy Crush, and hide and seek, however the ever popular local game Cast Stones at Infidels and Win remains popular.
However the law permits Saudi Arabian women to fly aircrafts, as authorities are very well aware that aircrafts were not forbidden during Prophet Muhammad’s rule as they did not exist.
