Police and security forces sprang this morning in a hurry to check on the young man Faisal Effendi, after his car has crashed into a tree.
Upon arrival to the scene of the incident, the security services were able to quickly make out the right judgement on what has happened. The road police inspector’s report indicated that the tree had been planted roughly two decades ago and irresponsibly placed on the winding route which Mr Faisal would use in order to visit one of his friends on this day, and the person in charge of planting it on the sidewalk did not take into account the fact that the young man might be in a mood to speed on that day, and maybe under the influence of alcohol.
After the incident, the authorities went ahead to uproot whatever was left of that tree, so that it could be arrested and then investigated with. Our reporter was not able to find out the fate of the man that was in charge of planting the tree.
And speaking to Mr Faisal, he said that the whole driving experience was a disaster “I was forced to swerve away from cars that were not getting out of my way more than once, and some people yelled at me to use what they were referring to as “indicators”, and most if them were not even driving Mercedeses, driving next to me sometimes, not recognizing my car as the respectable convoy that it is”.
It is worth noting, that the young man did succeed in passing his driving exam with merit just an hour before the incident, where he took over the driver’s seat, conducted a brief telephone call, and obtained his licence with an additional certificate of excellence from his examiner, topped with a kiss on the hand.
