His Excellency the Minister of Education has sent his son to a public school as a punishment for wasting his pocket money once more. The Secretary-General of the ministry has said that his Excellency’s decision was made after their lengthy discussions together, where they concluded that the boy was careless, inconsiderate and did not know how hard people worked so his father could have all of this wealth. And that it was therefore necessary to force him to live in these people’s shoes.
Immediately after the decision was made public, the Ministry of Education sent its finest team of hundreds of unemployed and probably illegally immigrated to renovate ninth grade’s classroom, the school yard, bathrooms, the students and the principal, in addition to installing air conditioning and resolving heat problems. They will also take charge of security services and keep thugs and bullies flowing to provide the school with the suitable learning environment.
It is expected that the student will take lessons in staring at walls and contemplating the future during his time at the school – if, for some reason he does happen to attend classes – as well as special courses in brawling, fighting classmates and teachers, climbing over the school fences and jostling to buy food during the break.
The principal has said that the school’s slogan is “the school of life”, and that they will continue to use their “proper” approach towards education to teach the minister’s son lessons in showing respect to officials and guardians and obeying their commands as well as standing in line, following the herd, and doing what he’s told.
